FAQ

  • Details for your birthing location will be provided after retaining services.

Plan on taking a cooler with you to your birth center or hospital. If you are having a home birth, you'll just keep it secured in your refrigerator until we can pick up.

Generally, weekday pickups are between 6 and 8pm due to other professional and caregiving responsibilities.

  • Yes! These interventions have no noticeable effect on your placenta capsules. Epidural anesthesia and pitocin break down very quickly after entering the placenta, and encapsulating is a can to assist with your C-section recovery.

Make sure you specify clearly in your birth plan that you will be keeping the placenta, and that it needs to be refrigerated as soon as possible after the birth.
